"At 21, I was living in Barcelona, as part of my degree in Spanish and French. I had no burning plan to be a journalist at the time but did know that if I wanted to really enjoy a job, it would involving talking and chewing over ideas and events - I'd say, especially to anyone who doesn't have a solid career path in mind, that they ask themselves if the things they love most, or are naturally drawn to, can be adapted to a career.
I hoped any job I did could be largely enjoyable and never a chore, and I've found that to be the case with Broadcasting. Don't be afraid to say so, either, in an interview."
